There are vertical or specialised search engines. In fact, \u201cfacebook\u201d and \u201cyoutube\u201d are two top searches on Google.<\/p>\n<p>Informational search queries are \u00a0queries which cover a large topic (e.g., Johannesburg or trucks) which might have thousands of appropriate results. When an individual makes an informational search query in Google or, alternatively, another search engine they\u2019re searching for information \u2013 which gives rise to the name. Transactional search queries may:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contain exact brand and product names (such as \u201cSamsung galaxy s3\u201d),<\/li>\n<li>Be generic (for example, \u201ciced coffee maker\u201d), or<\/li>\n<li>Include terms such as \u201cbuy,\u201d \u201cpurchase,\u201d or \u201corder.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In all of these examples, can you conclude that the searcher contemplating a purchase in the foreseeable future, if they\u2019re not already doing so. In other words, they\u2019re at the business end of the conversion funnel.
