For instance, they act as signposts for the readers and also make it easier for them to ascertain what a post or page is about. Headings also describe which bits of your content are important. It was compulsory to add your keywords in the headings if you wanted to rank in the SERPs. However, that\u2019s not been the case for many years. Thus, your most important heading needs to be H1. H2 tags are under H1 tags and then H3 tags are under H2\/H1 tags.<\/p>\n<p>You get it, however here\u2019s an instance in outline form:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>H1: Post Title<\/li>\n<li>H2: Section 1<\/li>\n<li>H2: Section 2<\/li>\n<li>H3: Sub-Section 2A<\/li>\n<li>H3: Sub-Section: 2B<\/li>\n<li>H2: Section 3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For any given blog post, your post heading should be the H1. It\u2019s important that it includes something similar to what you would utilise for your page title and contains your keyphrase.<\/p>\n<p>Now, your usage of H2 as well as H3 tags will be dependent on how you organise the post.
